Subscription services shall include the drop-off to designated location, maintenance or related services, and pick-up from designated locations. reFort will drop-off the unit to the Lessee during dates and times established by reFort after confirmation from the Lessee. The Lessee agrees to be present to receive the unit(s) at the specified delivery date, time, and location.
reFort will also notify the Lessee of the proper time and pick-up date on which to return the unit. The Lessee must return the unit at the specified time and date or contact reFort at least 10 days in advance to make other arrangements. If the Lessee fails to return the unit on or at the correct return date, the Lessee may be liable for additional charges. If the Lessee does not return the unit at all, the Lessee will be charged for the unit. Return dates and further information will also be posted on our website at www.reFort.com no later than two (2) weeks prior to pick up dates. The Lessee is responsible in coordinating with reFort for coordinating a return date, time and location in all other situations.
reFort hereby leases to the Lessee a unit at specified date, time and location. In the event that the Lessee is not present during the Lessee’s scheduled delivery date, time and location, reFort representatives will bring the unit back to the warehouse and the Lessee will have to reschedule a delivery. If this happens, the Lessee will be responsible for paying a redelivery fee and/or a missed pickup fee of up to $40 for local deliveries.
reFort Service Guarantee
reFort guarantees an on-schedule pickup of shipping and storage items and delivery of items. reFort will provide the Lessee with a window of four (4) hours during which pickup or delivery will occur.
Payment for Services
The Lessee agrees to pay the total cost of the services provided by reFort based on the number and type of items tendered to reFort at the time of pickup, the exact services to be provided, and the prices contained in this Agreement. The Lessee further agrees to pay any applicable fees as specified in the Pricing section.
These fees are non-refundable in the event the Lessee cancels the contract before the completion of this Agreement.
All charges for services are due and payable when the order is placed. All accounts must be paid by credit or debit card. The Lessee hereby authorizes reFort to charge the Lessee-provided credit card or bank account for the balance owed for the services rendered and any additional fees.
Checks or cash are not accepted on the day of pickup and should not be given to reFort representatives under any circumstance.
The Lessee acknowledges that the Lessee remains indebted to reFort for any balance owed on the Lessee’s account as a result of invalid credit or debit card information, reFort’s inability to receive credit or debit charge authorizations, or for any other reason that prevents reFort from being paid for the services and any additional. If the Lessee has failed to pay the charges for the services or any additional fees prior to the date of scheduled delivery, reFort reserves the right to hold the Lessee’s Unit until payment has been received in full. The Lessee acknowledges that the Lessee’s failure to pay the Lessee’s account in full prior to the delivery date could result in a change in the delivery date and the assessment of additional fees.

It is understood and agreed that the unit at all times remains reFort's property and the sale of leased property or a failure to return leased property to its owner may constitute a crime and subject the Lessee to prosecution, as well as charges to the card on file equivalent to the full retail price of the unit.
The lessee also agrees to pay attorney’s fees, collection charges, and any other expenses incurred by reFort in collecting any charges under this agreement or in re-taking the said subscription property or otherwise enforcing the terms of this agreement.
This agreement shall indemnify reFort against any or all losses or damages arising from the use of the unit during the term of this lease.
Liability for injury, disability, and death caused by the operation of the chosen unit during the subscription term shall be assumed by the Lessee, and the Lessee shall indemnify reFort against all such liability, compensation, or grievances.
This Agreement shall be governed, interpreted, and construed according to the laws of the District of Columbia. The lessee agrees that any court action pertaining to this agreement shall be conducted in the courts of the District of Columbia or in the federal courts located therein.
Theft and Damages
The Lessee is protected if the unit is stolen or damaged accidentally. The theft of the unit must be reported to the police or public safety officials, with a full report available to reFort. After a thorough investigation by the proper authorities and reFort, including a report made available, reFort may agree to not charge the lessee for the stolen unit. As for accidental damage, reFort must review and check the damages to the unit(s) before a decision is made to charge the lessee or not. This only applies to accidental damage or theft and does not cover malicious vandalism or purposeful attempts to damage the unit. In the event that the unit is damaged purposely, reFort holds the right to charge the customer and the card on file for the full retail value of the item.
The Customer acknowledges that there are no representations, warranties, or agreements by or between the parties that are not fully set forth herein and no representative of reFort or reFort's agents is authorized to make any representations, warranties, or agreements other than as expressly set forth herein. This Agreement may be amended only in writing, signed and agreed upon by both parties.
Any term or provision of this agreement that happens to be invalid or unenforceable in any situation in any jurisdiction shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining terms and provisions hereof or the validity or enforceability of the offending term or provision in any other situation or in any other jurisdiction.
